Although the first look at Mate 30 Pro looks incredible with amazing features you would expect from a smartphone. However, your favorite Google apps will not be available in Huawei Mate 30 Pro. In this article, you will get Huawei Mate 30 Pro review and whatever you need to know. The Camera in this phone is simply spectacular while the Mate 30 Pro has a facial 3D scanner. So that’s nothing compared to the Mate 20 series and it has improved quite well.
The ban on the Huawei from Google is going to make stop using all Android services. So you won’t be able to download any Google service which includes YouTube, Gmail, Google Play Store and many more. Therefore, that will make Mate 30 Pro limit the demand in certain markets which Huawei agrees. In addition, if you live in the United States, the UK and many areas of Europe then you won’t be getting the phone. Additionally, Mate 30 Pro is coming to Australia while the pricing is still not disclosed.
The big camera which will take a big space on the back is quite insane. It can take a 720p@7680fps slow-mo video which is incredible compared to other Mate 30 Pro takes the win. This doesn’t stop here because 30 Pro will bring in the video night mode and bring changes to the night mode photo.

If you have always used android phone and with Huawei Mate 30 Pro, you will hard to find Google services. Further, the price for starters starts with €1099 (which is around $1,200/£970). Since it’s getting released next month then you should know that the price of 4G versions of the phone starts with €1099. If you want the 5G version then you have pay extra for that. It starts with €1,199 (which is around $1,300/£1050). In my opinion, that’s a reasonable price for a phone like that. Moreover, you can expect news from Huawei regarding a release date in European countries next month.
What’s the Huawei Mate 30 Pro Design and Display?
The Mate 30 Pro comes with the 88-degree screen which is also called the waterfall screen. If you have used the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge then you know it. However, the Mate 30 Pro is quite more than that because you are getting almost full screen. Huawei has decreased the chin of Mate 30 Pro to the new level. The curved display of the phone will feel so good on your hands once you start using it.
The screen is 6.53-inch OLED display is bigger compared to the last versions of Mate 20 Pro. However, it’s Full HD plus, therefore, the screen resolution is lower because it’s not quad HD. The huge difference between Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro is the waterfall screen.
There are other features which you can find different is that when you move your thumb yo or down. You can control the volume without the volume button.
Mate 30 Pro comes with four different colors. Which is Green, Black, Purple, and Silver and a leather version of the phone will be also available. It’s also waterproof and edges of the phone are made with metal. Therefore, It has a kind of cool design and display which you would like.

Software and Specifications
Huawei Mate 30 Pro will run on the latest Andriod 10 software. However, if you look for Google Play Store or any Google apps such as YouTube, Gmail, Google Drive, Chrome and any pre-install apps on any android mobile. Then you will not be able to find them because of the Huawei Android ban from the US Government. Additionally, you will get only limited apps of Huawei and there’s no easy way to get Google services to enable on Mate 30 Pro.
There will be a shortage of application and you can get legally only what Huawei’s official app store offer. So far you really don’t if it’s worth for the people outside of China.
For specification, with help from AI and the latest launched HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset, it’s keeping up with others. Also, it comes with 8GB RAM with 128/256GB Storage.
Camera and battery
There is a big camera which takes a lot of space from the back and it has amazing features. For slow-mo video it’s has upgraded the camera to its new level which can take a 7680 fps slow-mo video. So there you have three rare cameras, a 40-megapixel main, 8-megapixel telephoto, 40-megapixel ultra, and a 3D depth sensor. Moreover, the front camera for the phone has a 32-megapixel sensor with a Time of Flight sensor.
So in my opinion, Huawei Mate 30 Pro takes a win in camera. Therefore, it’s the best camera phone out there in the market.
There is a wireless charging option available and the fast charging is also on the table. However, there is still no review on the battery life which nobody knows. It has the 4500 mAh battery so let’s see when the phone is officially available in the market.
